Winter Letterbox Adventure

Welcome to Winter Letterbox Adventure!

Are you ready to explore the parks in winter? The fun runs December 14, 2024 – March 16, 2025.

REGISTER HERE starting December 14.

The clues located on these pages guide you on a winter exploration of FIVE different parks and help you learn more about the wonders of space. Instead of a traditional letterbox, you will find a sign at each park. All five signs contain words from a broken-up quote. FOUR of the signs also have a number. Write the words and number (if present) from each sign on the corresponding park page. Letterbox prizes will be available outside the Deer Haven Park Visitor Center and at Gallant Farm by following the instructions below.

Claim Your Prize

Follow the clues to find a small gray Winter Letterbox sign on a tree or shrub in each park. Once you have discovered all FIVE signs, put them in order to form a quote. This will also unscramble the corresponding numbers. This number is the code to the combination lock that opens the prize bin outside the Deer Haven Park Visitor Center or on the Gallant Farm farmhouse front porch. Prizes are limited and available until March 22 or while supplies last.

Prizes may be retrieved from the prize box during these park hours:

Deer Haven Park
8 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily, Dec. – Feb., and 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. in March.

Gallant Farm
12 – 5 p.m. Thurs. – Sun.
