Your next great getaway is a lot closer than you might imagine.
It can be found at one of the nine Preservations Parks locations in Delaware County. My favorite is Blues Creek Park, located on the west side of the county on Fontanelle Road, just north of Ostrander. There you will find tucked into the quiet countryside peaceful trails that beckon you through prairie meadows, flower-filled fields, and woods that harbor more types of Warblers in the Spring than you might imagine! You can wander, explore the many wildflowers and cross a beautiful footbridge over a meandering creek.
Bring your camera or your cell phone to take beautiful photos of the park. Or just wander. It’s quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing because it’s not overcrowded. It’s just you and nature. It can be your “me” time. Your next great escape. And it’s close by.
