Park Operations staff members are responsible for managing and maintaining the 10 parks within the District (934 acres), while always keeping safety and public accessibility in mind. Duties include a wide variety of tasks: clearing and repairing the more than 12 miles of nature trails; maintaining grounds and facilities; and assisting with plantings and habitat management, to name just a few.
