Discover Your Park

This future park is located along US Rt 23 between Winter Road and Chapman Road. The park will showcase a variety of landscapes, including mature forests, wetlands, ravines, and prairies—providing opportunities for nature exploration and recreation. Its trail system will connect 186 acres of Preservation Parks land to ODNR’s 106-acre Seymour Woods State Nature Preserve. The system also includes a trail easement through Camp Lazarus and privately owned land. Together, these partnerships will enable the development of an interconnected trail network—linking 6.4 miles of continuous trails and a total of 292 acres of greenspace.

Planned amenities include a picnic area, restroom, shelter, parking lot, trails, and a pedestrian bridge over Lazarus Run. Future amenities may include a tree house, hammock area, public art, an outdoor classroom, wildlife viewing areas, and disc golf.

This park is made possible through your tax support and community partnership. Thank you for helping to advance Preservation Parks’ mission—to protect and conserve the natural and historical features of Delaware County and to inspire outdoor exploration and learning.

The southern portion of this park is slated to open in late 2026, with the pedestrian bridge and additional trail planned in 2028.
